Open Application Platform Docs

sMap SDK downloads

The web SDK served by the Open Platform and the package of every platform, as files of the current release.

sMap SDK

Load the two files on a web page and create a map with a map key:

smap-web-1.5.12.zip All web SDK files in one archive
smap.js Map SDK for web pages (JavaScript)
smap.css Map SDK stylesheet
smap-client.js JS client without a map view (browsers, Node.js, workers)
smap-client.d.ts Type declarations of the JS client
<link rel="stylesheet" href="https://open.superroute.ca/sdk/smap/v1/smap.css">
<script src="https://open.superroute.ca/sdk/smap/v1/smap.js"></script>
<div id="map" style="height:480px"></div>
<script>
  const map = new sMap.Map({ container: 'map', apiKey: 'smk_…', style: 'light', center: [-79.38, 43.65], zoom: 11 });
  map.ready.then(() => map.addPoints('stops', [{ lng: -79.38, lat: 43.65, name: 'A' }], { label: 'name' }));
</script>

Without a map view, the JS client gets tokens, picks the nearest node and reads styles, tiles and raw data:

const client = new SMapClient({ apiKey: 'smk_…' });
const style = await client.style('light', 'en');
const tile = await client.tile('basemap', 12, 1143, 1493);
